Hello Everyone!
so I am done giving my excuses on here every time I miss a post...everybody knows how hard it is to stay updated with the beautiful weather we have been having. So the pool officially opened on Saturday and everything has went very smoothly, knock on wood it has only been open 2 days now! It is so nice to get to see how much all the kids have grown over the winter and just be there to greet everyone and knowing we are spending the rest of this summer together so everything has to be perfect :) Other than being at the pool thats all I have gotten done because I have been so tired from being in the sun all day but I love every minute of it!!!!

Lately I have been in a cleaning, decorating, organizing, remodeling etc. mood! I have no idea where it came from but I am not complaining! I recently found this website PINTEREST where you can type any word in the search box and it brings up tons of pictures pertaining to that word. When you click on the thumbnail you can see it bigger where you can also click it once more and it takes you to the website it came from which is typically a blog or informational website. You can also "repin" the picture to your own board where you can store all kinds of ideas so you can refer back to them without searching all over the place for the pictures again. I have boards ranging from laundry room, kitchen, bathroom, nursery ideas to wedding, front porch decor, mason jar ideas! This may all seem very confusing but just check it out and you will be instantly in-love too (:

well I think  I am going to go layout by Grandma and Grandpa's pool and study for my anatomy final for a couple hours before going into work :) Enjoy your Memorial Day and remember to thank whoever you may know that has served our wonderful country for all they have done!!! Thanks to all!!!

Catchin' Up..

It really is hard to stay updated on here with the gorgeous weather we have been having. My week aside from going to class as been filled with fishing trips with my baby, playing outside with Tank, finishing a great book, and getting the pool ready to open on Saturday!!! Here are some pics of what I have been up to.

New Favorite pic of us!!! I love the time we get to spend together fishing :)

My cousin Maddy graduated from elementary school and is starting Junior High in the fall! This really brings a tear to my eye because it seems like just yesterday we were visiting them in the hospital when she was born.
Molly and I! (Molly is my god-daughter and pretty much holds a huge place in my heart! along with all the other "Spiker" kiddos)
Tank and I down in the barn
Anthony and I had a little photoshoot while we were sitting down in the barn! Looking at this picture there is no doubt that our children will have blue eyes just like us :)

Not real sure what happened to little man's eye. I think when he was nosing around in the hay he got poked! gotta love that face though. I cannot believe how big he is getting!
As I said I finished a book this week! It felt so good to finally be able to sit down and read an actual book that was not a text book!!! Now I have to crack back down on the text books and get ready to ace these finals I have coming up. Back to the book..I love and would recommend any Nicholas Sparks book to anyone. I have all of his books and read each and every one of them, a couple have even been read twice! I will save my whole rambling of my love for books for another post!

So on Sunday Anthony and I got a little bit of work done at the campsite. Here are some pics:
Little flower garden. Some of it my friend Jessie and I did last year but sunday I brought some more rocks in and put them in to extend it. I still need to get more from behind the camper and then get some flowers planted or something.
Hostas (sp?) that need to be split and then planted some where else. Maybe in the little flower bed by the campfire.
So there used to be on step here off these stairs. It was always awkward to step off of because it was so small. We decided to move two others from a place on the other side of the deck to extend the length.

Anthony working on the steps.

We still have an on-going list of stuff to be done but we are getting it done :) This weekend I need to take the powerwasher down and get the porch washed down, maybe get some plants planted, and possibly some painting. Soon enough it will be looking all nice and perty! Can't wait to show pics of the finished project!!!!

Sorry I have been a little MIA but its so hard to get time to get on the blog world when the weather was so nice last week, I had tons of studying to do (still have it, but need a little break from the books), plus I had a very eventful weekend! Heres how my weekend went:
Friday Night- Anthony and I stayed at the river. I headed up early to unload everything and then go spend a little time with my bestie and mr. Luke. I was in an energetic mood I guess and decided to run/walk up to her house from the river lot. It took me 20 minutes haven't checked the mileage yet. My goal is to by the end of the summer be able to run there without any trouble (WISH ME LUCK!) She took me back down and I got some cleaning done in the camper. I got the fridge, sink, counters, outdoor sink, and outdoor tables all bleached down and looked new! By the time I was finishing Anthony came down and we got a fire started and his friend from work came down to visit for a little bit. Since the weather turned pretty crappy we decided to go to bed.
Saturday- I had to work at the pool in the morning and Anthony had stuff to do around his house (mow, fix 4 wheeler etc.) After work I went home and got ready for my baby brothers first prom! They looked so nice. The afternoon consisted of pictures in the front yard (Mom made a tradition of every year for the first day of school taking a pic under a tree), more pictures at Shalenes (JK's awesome girlfriend), they all headed to dinner while we all waited to head to the promenade, rainy crappy weather met us just in time for promenade. After we said our good byes to them so they could enjoy their dance Anthony and I headed back down to the river. Where we got to meet some new members of the family (no names due to privacy of foster purposes). Aubrey and Mark picked us up and we headed to Bdubs to see my cousin's band play. However there was a huge damper on the evening because ofcourse I am under 21 and allowed at any other bar in the state of Ohio except the back of bdubs on that particular night!!!! :( we got a table though and could hear the music just fine! After our date night we went back to the river and hit the sack.
Sunday- woke up feeling motivated to get some work done! Anthony and I push mowed the whole lot, did some gardening, rearranged the steps off the deck and just moved some little things around and tidied up. We left around 12:30 to go to my cousin Vincent's bday party. I finished off my weekend cramming for my biology test that was today.
So here are some pics from the weekend!

After my test today I had the urge to swing by hobby lobby and see if I could find any thing I couldn't live without. I scored myself this cute little raccon stamp (raccoons play an important part in our family for the fact that our last name "KUHN" is pronounced coon) for $1.50 on clearance!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Did everyone enjoy their Mother's Day? I enjoyed spending the day with my Mom. We went to church at 10:30 together and after we went to Sams Club. After that we came home, had some lunch with Dad and JK then everyone else decided it was naptime so I ended up cleaning out the tercel. Anthony showed up and we cleaned the car some and played frisbee in the front yard. We decided to go over to the car wash in Vista View. It is my favorite car wash to go to for two reasons: 1. it's old fashion and you actually have to do everything yourself. No machine drive thru thingy and power dry. 2. it's only 25 cents! After we got back to the house we decided to go fishing. I caught one fish and another got away. After a couple hours we decided to come home. Anthony stayed for a little while and we watch Law and Order SVU with Dad. So that is pretty much how my day went. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Here are the cards I made for Mothers Day. One for my Mom along with others to give to Grandmas and one for Theresa (Anthony's Mom)

Here is the bracelet I got for Mom for Mothers Day. The green is Dad's birthstone, light blue is Grandpa Spiker's, dark blue is Jk's, ruby is mine.
Last is the picture book I made for Mom. I used the Storybook cartridge for the cover. Made the flower myself. The book was made with my Bind-it-All, actually the first book to make with it. I put random pictures of my brother and I growing up.

Happy Mothers Day to Mom, Grandmas, all my wonderful Aunts and other special people in my life! Including all my friends who are new Mommys (Aubrey, Joni , Taylor - soon to be, & Alyssa)

Banners for Wedding Shower

So here are the banners I made over a month ago for Anthony's cousin's wedding shower. They turned out really good and she is going to actually hang them up at their wedding! Sorry for such a poor quality of pictures but they were saved from facebook because stupid me I didn't take my camera to take my own pictures. But anyways here they are. I made three all together... Congratulations, Jennifer & Brian, and Love Always. I used my Cricut for pretty much the whole thing and used the Storybook cartridge and the Sweet Hearts cartridge.

My favorite part was the pictures I put on the Love Always one! They just added a little personal touch.
If anyone needs banners or decorations for a birthday party, graduation party, showers of any kind or even the holidays I would do them for you :) I love doing them and sometimes I know you might be a little busy at the time and just don't want to have one more thing to do on top of planning and throwing a party too! Just shoot me an email.

Embrace the Camera:
This week it is of the little girl/cousin I babysit in the mornings. God bless her little heart! her school is doing a book drive for a teacher that died this school year and they are trying to get enough money so they can put a reading bench at school in memory of Mrs. Blood. The kids are allowed to bring in gently used books that are then going to be sold for twenty five cents. Brooklyn chose a good amount of books that she really liked and was taking them into school today. Most kids wouldn't be able to get rid of something that is theirs most just want, want, want and want some more. I was so proud of her for donating something that she likes.
Here are some other pictures from my day!
Tired boys :) I am pretty sure there is a strong bond forming between these two! and i love it!!!
Today I also did my weekly Thursday visit to Mr. Luke Briggs. He is growing up so fast. Here he had just dozed off on my lap...gahh I love that precious little face! I really didn't want to give him up so I could go to school but I get to see him tomorrow so I think I will make it ;)
Jk brought over his gf's Dads Jeep that they are taking to prom next weekend! i fell in love the minute I saw it!!!!
 Shalene and Jonathan!

Head over to Emily's to check out the other Embrace the Cameras and don't forget to congratulate her on their addition to the family. Yes she is preggers and that will be 6 kids! God bless this woman :)
