Oh Hey Friday!

Wow it has already been over a week since I last posted! I must first start off by saying I have been pretty busy and exhausted all at the same time. This week has actually been a pretty big whirlwind of emotions. I am starting a slightly new adventure in my life right now. I say slightly because it is essentially something I have been doing for the last two years every chance I got but now I am taking it to the next level and really putting myself out there! Before I spill all the beans in the first paragraph of this post I am just going to jump ahead to my Five on Friday & I promise I am not going to leave you hanging.

1. So let's just cut to the chase.
Yep that is right! I finally bit the bullet and decided to start my Wedding and Event Design business after all my family and friends telling me I really need to do something with my creativity and help other people with their weddings. It is something I love to do and could handle doing every single weekend if it was possible. I am definitely going to go into more detail about this is a different post hopefully next week and there are going to be some changes to the blog going on too! So stay tuned!

2. Exhausted?Emotional?
No I am not expecting! As much as I have been having baby fever and pestering Anthony if we could get started I really don't think that right now is the time for it. What I am so emotional about is this roller coaster high I am on about my dream finally coming true with my design company. What I am exhausted from is for the last 2 months I have felt like I have been running like crazy with my eating healthy and working out to fit into that bridesmaid dress last week. By the way it did fit and we had an amazing weekend!!! I decided to take this week off from the gym and I am considering signing up for some classes instead. I am definitely thinking about taking a spinning class and may some hot yoga, have any of you done either? Any advice on the spinning? I have heard it is pretty intense!

3. Fall is finally here! I am not a huge PSL person but I am not going to lie I love me some pumpkin candles that I have burning and this weekend we are kicking off our first weiner roast of the season.

4. Another Wedding this Saturday! My cousin Missy is getting married on Saturday and it is going to be a blast. It is literally five minutes from our house and Doublecut (Daniel is Missy's brother) will be playing. We have lots of friends that will be going along with family (obviously) so it is going to be a blast, no doubt!!!

5. Tyson got the ol snipperoo yesterday! He did wonderful and is recovering fairly well. We absolutely love our vet's office. All day I was receiving texts and picture updates. They didn't put him in a kennel and when we went to pick him up he was just standing at the counter hanging out with the girls. They even said that he was going to have to stay with them because he was so much fun!!! I am sure he wouldn't mind them babysitting him all day either but Diesel would miss him and I would miss my little lunch buddy (I come home every day to let them out and eat lunch with them!)

We are definitely going to be having a busy weekend but I wouldn't want it any other way! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will be back next week with plenty of pictures from all these wedding festivities we have been getting ourselves into!

Crafty Hubby and If Only Dogs Had Thumbs!

I swear one of these days I will be able to get back into a better blogging routine. Life has been crazy busy around here for us for some reason that I totally don't understand! Everything that I attempt to do or schedule to do gets cancelled and I end up having to do something else.
Perfect example this weeks workout schedule blew out the window. The plan was and has been for the last month and a half or longer to workout at the gym every night after work Monday through Thursday but I have found myself cancelling almost every night this week. Monday we went out to eat for my brother's 21st birthday, so no time for sweating it out at the gym when we had to be in Newark by 6:30 (Newark is a solid 45 minutes from our house now!)
Tuesday, I made it to the gym, thank you workout gods for allowing me one day of keeping my sanity, does anyone else feel like they are just in an all together better mood if they are able to get in a really good workout?
Wednesday we received news that Anthony's sister was in town from Arizona. We had not seen Danielle in probably 3 or 4 years so obviously that was a huge dealio! So my MIL and Danielle came over around 6:30. We had a wonderful visit and were very happy to get to see her!
The rest of the night was spent working on some last minute stuff for Jesie and Kris' wedding which is on Saturday. But Anthony and I got it all done and I am very happy with how it all turned out!
Tonight after work I had to run home, put everything in the car, grab Anthony and head to Kris' Dad's house to start getting everything ready for setting up the reception hall tomorrow morning. So obviously no workout for me tonight!
Unfortunately tomorrow I have to work until 4 and right after work I am going to be running to Coshocton (aka Crotchcan! which is another solid 40 minutes or so from our house) to put any finishing touches on the reception hall and then it is off to rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.

So in other words I have officially kissed my sweat sessions for this week out the door and am in turn just going to throw on the corset I got and that dress is going to have to zip!
But onto the better...
We had a full blown craft night last night and I finished the banner and ribbon garland for the wedding and Anthony worked on the programs with close supervision from Tyson!

I had to share the cuteness with all of you!!
I don't know what is cuter, my hubby making wedding programs or Tyson...
Okay I won't make this uncomfortable for you, Tyson definitely for the win!

Oh Hey Friday!

Where is time going to? I cannot believe how fast the days have been going! I don't know if it is because we have fun stuff to do so much right now and big events with deadlines (weddings!) or if this is just what everyone was talking about when I was growing up that time would fly even faster as I got older, you were right Mom!!!

Nothing was too eventful this week other than some new workouts I threw into my workout routine and some classes I have been contemplating signing up for at the gym once the new sessions start in October.  I am just going to link up with September Farm  & The Farmer's Wife for Oh Hey Friday    and share my favorite apps that I have on my phone.

1. PicTapGo. This is my go to photo editor. It has amazing filters to add to photos but I love the fact that it allows you to have a floating picture when you post it to your Instagram. I just love the way all my pictures laid out without being the perfect square & floating like on my IG. If you don't already follow me take a look at how different the pictures look without being square (@mrsfry26)

2. EOS Remote. When we were on vacation in July I came across an article about my DSLR camera that if it has wifi capabilities that you can download this app to your cell phone and in turn use your phone as a remote. This allowed us take some awesome pictures this Summer that I would have otherwise had to entrust my camera to a complete stranger and fear having pictures that aren't even focused.

3. Google+ . While I haven't completely mastered the whole Google+ concept yet I did figure out recently that by downloading the app I am able to access pictures I have taken on my phone through blogger when making a blogpost. In the past I always just email these pictures to myself and then saved them to the computer. I am really liking this way much better and its is making blog posting much faster!

4. NetFlix. Last week my workout buddy Sarah asked me why I only have netflix on my ipad when I should have it on my phone too. I had never really even considered this but it dawned on me that when I am running on the treadmill at the gym and there is nothing on the tvs that are at the gym I could just put my headphones in my phone and watch my favorite netflix shows from there. Genius I tell ya!!!

5. Instagram. Okay this is seriously my all time favorite and most used app that I have on my phone. Every time I turn my phone on I open this app to catch up on my favorite accounts. In the last year or more I started using IG more to follow my blogger friends and to make blogger friends than I even have to follow my real life friends and family. Are any of you guilty of this?
If you don't already follow me on IG you are missing out on tons of pictures of my cute furbaby Tyson, Diesel doesn't make it in the pictures too often because he is extremely camera shy.

So there you have it, some of my favorite apps that I have on my phone.
What are some of your favorite apps?
Do you have instagram, leave your name in a comment below so I can follow you!
I hope you all have an amazing weekend and see you all on Monday.
xoxo

10 Days into September

I just realized today that we are already ten days into September and I also realized that I have been horrible at getting my posts up here lately. So in an effort to not spend like a whole week trying to catch up with everything I am just going to do a little update on what has been going on around here

Labor Day Weekend we kicked it off by celebrating Jesie's last days as a single woman before she ties the knot on the 20th. Our theme was wigging out and we had so much fun going out in Columbus with wigs on!

I got my first order from Sadie Sky Boutique. I absolutely love this headband and cannot wait to order more from this awesome shop!!! and freaking adorable is her packaging?!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Anthony and I finally got to go visit some of the antique stores in downtown Zanesville together.

Last weekend we celebrated my Uncle Jeff turning the big 4-0 in Columbus and we also got to watch the Ohio State game (not such a great game but I still love my Buckeyes!!!)

Sunday I got some of my favorite puppy snuggles in with Mr. Tyson. Most of our mornings start something like this as soon as Anthony leaves the bedroom. Tyson loves snuggling up to me but when Anthony and I are both in bed he can choose one of us to snuggle on so he literally just lays between/on top of us! Needless to say that is not comfortable have all 170 lbs of him laying on you. I have been running around like crazy that I felt like it had been a long time since we had a good snuggle session so I decided to take some time with just my fur baby!

Sunday I had my cousin Missy's bridal shower and was finally able to give her her gifts that I made for her. I ended up using one of my big huge barn window frames and making that frame with the S and then I also made her that cute wreath. The coral is one of their wedding colors and the whole rustic/lace is their theme so she is going to be able to put these up at the wedding too!!!!

That is pretty much all that has been going on around here aside from the regular crazy routine that we always have going on. Here is some stuff that we have to look forward to for the rest of September...
+two more weeks of craft nights on Thursdays to get ready for Missy and Lance's wedding which is the 27th
+throwing together the rest of Jesie and Kris's Wedding which is the 20th
+Both of the above mentioned weddings at the end of the month
+some crazy workouts and healthy eating to get myself back on track
+Hopefully getting around to decorating our house for Fall

I never thought September was going to be this busy but man was I wrong. As of right now October is looking like it is going to be our slow down month and we can hopefully sit back and enjoy some time before the weather changes for winter and of course hunting season officially kicks off!!!
I hope you are all have a great September!

Currently - September

Writing: a better grocery list. Our pantry is pretty much full of not so healthy food choices that I need to steer away from with all of my working out I am busting my behind on in order to fit into a bridesmaid dress for.

Anticipating: Fitting into above mentioned bridesmaid dress! No but seriously that is one of the things that is constantly weighing on my mind. That dress hangs obnoxiously in my closet and every morning I walk in there I feel it nagging me to try it on just to see if it will still zip up! Two weeks ago I decided to just try it on for the hell of it not even realizing how much weight that I have put on this summer/muscle that has depleted! Not only not being able to fit into this dress but the realization of how my body has changed (for the negative) has me so ready to lose the extra pounds and work on some major toning!

Wearing: On Friday my order from Sadie Sky Boutique came in and I have been wearing the heck out of this headband! I seriously love it & need to order more. This is my first headband like this and that I wear over my instead of behind my ears and under and I am going to be making another order ASAP because I really really like it!!!

Craving: Chipotle. Umm who isn't?!?!

Missing: Hot Summer Pool Days. Even though I am anxiously trying to get my house ready to decorate for fall and planning all kinds of fun fall trips to make I keep being reminded in the back of my head that our days of laying out poolside are very limited if not completely over and it makes me sad that Winter is around the corner.

I am linking up with Jenna at Dearest Love and Anne who blogs at In Residence for their monthly Currently link up!!!
