My First Mother's Day

Sunday, May 14, 2017

As I woke up early on this Sunday morning which also happens to be my first Mother's Day I am overcome with thankfulness. Thankful to God for choosing me to be Rowan's momma. I have never been more proud of being something than I am to be her mom. I always knew I would want to have children one day and we prayed very hard for this sweet child. The last three months have been the most amazing and challenging times of my life.

On February 22nd when they laid her on my chest my life was changed forever. I don't think my heart has quit smiling since that moment, at times it feels as if it could just explode. Becoming a momma has given my life a greater meaning and purpose. I hope to shape you into a loving, compassionate, God loving, adventurous seeking, brave little lady as the years go by. However, all the plans I have for you will never amount to what you are going to change us into. I thank God for blessing me to be your momma and you my daughter

Baby Cameryn's Shower

Friday, May 12, 2017

Last weekend we went to Rowan's future bff's baby shower. My friend Julie will be having Cameryn in July and her sister, mother-in-law and sister-in-laws threw the most beautiful baby shower for Julie and Cameryn. It was held at the Greens at Vista here in town and they had an amazing spread of breakfast food for everyone. It was great catching up with all our friends and watching Julie open  all her amazing gifts. We cannot wait for July to get here and for Cameryn to make her debut!

Sunday Funday

Monday, May 1, 2017

We had a nice little Sunday not spent running all over the place but we did get a nice walk around the campground in and a visit with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Kuhn. We went walking with Maddy and Molly and decided to walk around the campground instead of the beach area because there were more hills and it would be a better exercise. After our walk Rowan was super tired and fell asleep with only like two minutes left but she woke up happy as could be when we stopped to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I love seeing everyone love on our little girl and she seems to really enjoy all of their lovin's too. My Grandma is making Rowan's Baptism gown so we were able to get some measurements during our visit too. I cannot wait to see her in it and it will definitely be something that we keep forever.
