Celebrating Grandpa Fry's Birthday

Sunday April 8th
We went to Great-Grandma Fry's to celebrate Grandpa Fry's birthday on Sunday. Rowan took a little while to warm up to her uncles and Grandpa but once she did she was a lot of fun! She enjoyed playing with all of the toys and being the center of attention.

Playing Outside at Great Grandma Frys

We spent Sunday at Great Grandma Fry's celebrating Anthony's Dad's birthday. We snuck outside with just Momma and Teetee while the guys went to shoot guns to run around and smell Grandma's pretty flowers. These last pictures of Rowan running took my breath away when I saw them. What happened to my little baby?! Slow down baby girl! No, keep chasing those dreams, but let Momma catch up <3

Some Bunny is One! || Rowan's First Birthday Party

We celebrated Rowan's first birthday well over a month ago but I am just now getting a chance to sit down and write this out. We had her party at the Municipal Building in Dresden and there was so much space for all of our family and friends.

I was able to do all of her decorations myself and it was so easy to find bunnies in the stores because it was right when all the Eater decorations came out. Rowan always picks the bunnies out in her books and videos so we decided a bunny party would be perfect for her.

My Aunt Lori made Rowan's smash cake and it was exactly what I asked her for and as you can tell Rowan loved it!!! Her cupcakes were made by her Aunt Shalene and they were so delicious! I made her onesie with my Cricut and the tutu was bought at Hobby Lobby. Outfit #2 was from TJ Maxx and quite a few of her friends have the same one. I really want the leggings in my size! Her birthday hat headband is from Target and so was the big pink tassel balloon on her high chair. All the other balloons were from Dollar General.

We had so much fun celebrating our favorite little girl with everyone who loves her so much. They are not joking when they tell you that the first year goes by in the blink of an eye. The first year was full of so much growth between her and us learning to be parents! The growing is going to continue for many, many years but God could not have blessed us with a better little girl to be parents of. We love you so much Rowan Christine!

Easter 2018

Easter was a little bit different this year as far as celebrating with family. In years past we have always went to Grandma Spiker's house but this year we ended up having it my Uncle Matt & Aunt Lori's and instead of having it as lunch we had dinner there. This left a gap in our afternoon between Church and having to be anywhere. I ended up inviting my Mother In Law and Bob over for brunch at our house. They brought Rowan her own Easter basket full of treats and a big chocolate bunny.

We attempted to go to Church but Rowan was having some tummy problems and was constipated which led to her screaming inconsolably when trying to go to the bathroom so we decided to skip out on Church so she wasn't crying then. We did snap a few pictures of her in her dress while when we attempted to go to Mass.

That little bunny was in her Easter basket and Rowan just loves bunnies so much so she was loving all over it all day with all the kisses.

When we got back home, had breakfast Rowan crashed after having such an early morning and she was feeling a little off. After her nap she took a bath and after her bath she was ready to hunt for some hidden eggs. We had colored eggs at my Grandma's on Friday night so Rowan hunted those eggs that we colored and she was all about cracking them open to eat them.

After the egg hunt and having a little snack we headed down to Spiker's for dinner. Rowan got back in her Easter dress because well we gotta wear the heck out of it on Easter. This time I remembered that she has this beautiful brithstone necklace that her Great-Grandma Fry got her for her Baptism gift and I wanted her to finally get to wear it for the first time.

When we got to Spiker's everyone was passing her around so she could hand out all her kisses! It is so much fun to see everyone loving on her. We were finally able to get another 4 generations picture too. Rowan is definitely the center of attention and she knows how to soak it up!

Aunt Lori and everyone who brought food put on an amazing spread of food for dinner. Rowan loved the noodles, green beans and rolls! After dinner we went outside to get some more pictures and do our traditional cousin's pictures.

After pictures and hanging out Miss Rowan was exhuasted and fell asleep on Maddy's lap. I just love taking pictures of her while she is sleeping!

We had a pretty good second Easter and when we got home as I was going through pictures I wanted to reminisce on last years Easter and I cannot believe how much Rowan has grown. Last year she was only a few weeks old and now she is running around and so much fun! I love this 4 generations picture we took last year and the one we took this year!

I hope you all had an amazing Easter and aren't getting caught stealing candy from those Easter baskets this week :)
