Two weeks ago I had the amazing experience to be in one of my best friend's weddings. I was not only one of her bridesmaids but she also dubbed me as their wedding designer from the get go. Jesie had the most amazing classy country/woodsy theme in her head and everything turned out beautifully! Jesie married her sole mate Kris on September 20th in a tiny little church out in the country that Jesie grew up going to. They were surrounded by a handful of their closest friends and family and we joined the rest of the party at their reception following the wedding.
Jesie and Kris were also high school sweet hearts just like Anthony and myself and seeing their undying love for each other throughout the months, days and seconds leading up to the I Do's I couldn't help but smile because I know they were meant to be!
We started the morning out with donuts and mimosas at the salon
I may have forgotten a non-visible pair of underwear so Julie and I made a pitstop at Victoria Secret to get a pair of nude undies!
The next stop was the church to relax a little bit and then get ready for the Big moment. I had a major lack of pictures because the photographer was with us and I just wanted to totally enjoy the day with all of our friends. Anthony got to the Church and I handed off the camera to him. I love this picture he snapped of Kris when he saw Jes coming down the aisle.
After the ceremony we headed to the reception hall in Coshocton.
This is the only picture I have of the Pavilion and it was taken on Thursday before we all left for the rehearsal so that is why there are no flowers in the center pieces and the head table was not done yet.
And here are some candid pictures from throughout the night. The only picture I got with Jesie was after I had changed out of my dress because I thought I was going to get sick from it being too tight because I pigged out and ate way too much food followed by an unnecessary amount of wine!
Words cannot even describe how much fun I had celebrating Kris and Jesie's love for eachother! The day was truly perfect and magical witnessing Jesie become a MRS. and I was so happy she asked me to stand by her side on her big day!!! Now all three of us are members of the married people's club and now we are finding fun things to do together. In three weeks Jes, Julie and I are doing a wine and canvas night and I am so excited! I have never done one of these but have really been wanting to for a while now. Have you ever done a wine and canvas event? If so did you have fun? The painting is an Ohio State block O so that is going to be even more fun to hang in our house!
The wedding looked beautiful! And so did you--that pink color looks great on you. I've never done a wine and canvas night, but I know a lot of people love it, so have fun!
