Weekend Recap: Winter Wonderland Wedding

Sami's Shenanigans
Wow what a crazy busy weekend I just had...
First off let me just announce this to everyone since obviously I am blogging this and unless you talk to me in real life you or if I was vlogging you would know that my voice is sounding very raspy right now and nasally. Well Thursday I talked too much on the phone at work and when I got off work at 4:00 I started noticing that my voice was crackling. By 5:30 my voice was completely gone.
I had never lost my voice until now so I had no idea what was going on.
I knew I wasn't sick but I was sounding horrible...
and the whole experience has been horrible!
This would have been acceptable to have happen any other weekend but this weekend was a horrible one to lose my voice because my friend Julie was getting married and I had plans of helping with set up and anything else they needed for the weekend.
I headed over to the reception hall Thursday evening at 6:30 and we were there until a little after mid night then Friday morning we all got there at 8:30, all day it was snowing and icing but we just stayed there and decorated and hung out.
(also dealt with vendors that did not keep their ends of the deal so we had to improvise with a lot of stuff)
Then Saturday morning I had some errands to run and then get ready for the wedding plus I ran over to see if they needed any more help and to give Julie some vintage Christmas lights.
When I got home I curled my hair and got dressed and then Anthony came home from work early and we headed to the wedding!
Everything went smoothly, the wedding was gorgeous and the reception was a blast!!
There was also the perfect amount of snow outside that they were able to go out and snap a couple quick pictures which was great because the theme was Winter Wonderland.
So here are some pictures from the weekend...

Clay's Mom did all of the center pieces and each one was different. It was so pretty and she was super organized. She had each center piece in a gallon ziplock bag and a picture attached to each bag so that each table was set up the way it needed to be. I did the chalkboard sign for Julie on Friday while we were setting everything up. That big ball of balloons popped while they were having their first dance!
Welcome to the Married Club Julie!!!

 Blaire and Julie
Hubby
Shannon, Jesie (Julie's identical twin) and Me
This was at the end of the night!
We were imitating this guy and girl that were there.
But it kinda got out of hand and this is the last picture I have from the night
Pretty sure this was when Anthony decided that it was time to go home.
2 shots of bourbon may be to blame....

Sunday I went over to help clean up and take stuff to Julie and Clay's house.
It was snowing here all morning and on the way to their house (we had like a 6 car caravan heading there) I tried to stop and slid into the sidewalk because of the snow and ice. Luckily there were no cars parked along the road where I was and I was in the Pontiac and it sits low enough on the ground that I didn't go up over the sidewalk. This is my first winter without a 4X4 vehicle so that kinda scared me a bit.
After we dropped everything off I headed home to get some rest because I still had not gotten my voice back. I did some laundry and caught up cleaning until Anthony got home then we cooked supper and went to bed pretty early.
our road looked like this when I headed home on Sunday.
It was so pretty!!!

On Monday I headed into work, still with no voice and ended up working til 1:00 and went home to get some sleep and hopefully regain my voice.
It still hasn't come back fully but I am able to answer the phones and carry on a conversation so that is good.
How were all of your weekends? I know its a little late but I have just been so consumed with everything this weekend and catching up at work that I haven't been able to get on here to post.
