We ended up leaving Wednesday evening destination Surfside Beach, South Carolina. We arrived at the house around 4 a.m. And went straight to bed. Thursday morning we woke up with lots to be thankful for (getting to sleep in, the sun was shining, our view from our room included the ocean and a post breakfast walk on the beach). We had Thanksgiving at 1:30 and it was amazing! Instead of sweet one crashing after filling our bellies we took a walk on the beach and played pass with a football.
Black Friday we did not fight with a bunch of shoppers, instead we took another walk on the beach and found a bunch of shells. We might have taken an afternoon nap, which never happens especially napping with my husband. He is always at work or too busy to take a nap, so this was perfect. Friday night we headed down to Myrtle Beach for a regatta boat parade. Unfortunately the parade was actually on Saturday so we went to eat at a really good BBQ place and walked along the boardwalk.
Saturday my mom, Grandma and I went shopping at Kohls and a Ross'. I had heard of people getting really cute stuff at Ross but I really wasn't too impressed wig their clothing or house decor but I did get two really soft fleece throws for $12. Anthony got up before all of us and took some amazing pictures of the sunrise on the beach by the pier. I was really impressed with his camera skills and am definitely getting one of these framed.
Saturday was the Ohio State vs. Michigan game so we had a party at the beach house and ate all the leftovers from Thanksgiving. Saturday was he nicest day of the whole trip so I skipped out on watching the game and played on the beach with my cousin. The rest of the family joined in during half time and after the game we all walked to the pier to get frozen cookie dough on a stick.

Anthony and I ended up going to Murrel's Inlet to check it out. It was a really cool boardwalk with a bunch of restaurants right on the water. We ended up walking around and just enjoying the nice weather, watching the pelicans and other birds and looking at all the big boats.
When we got back to the house we changed real quick and took some pictures on the beach just as he sun was setting. After that we relaxed in the hot tub and spent some more time together before packing and getting ready to head back to Ohio.
We went to bed super early and woke up at 2:30 a.m. to head home and avoid all the holiday traffic. We pretty much drove straight through and made it home by 3:00 Sunday. After picking up the dogs we came home, unpacked and I cooked some spaghetti for dinner. It was so nice to eat an actual meal instead of road trip food. All in all we had a great trip and were super thankful to spend Thanksgiving at the beach. I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving and now we can officially let the Christmas season celebrations begin!!!

Wow, those pictures are breath taking! You should definitely frame them! Don't you wish you could just have a whole wall in your house dedicated to pictures?! Haha. :) Looks like a great trip!
