Wedding Wednesday

I cannot believe our wedding is 227 days away!
It is seriously sneaking up on me and I don't know if I am liking that.
Guess I don't have much of a choice now do I?
I am still trying to stick to my checklists and follow my wedding binder but I keep getting myself distracted with the little things like centerpieces, table setups and the songs we should dance to. Mom keeps me on track though. If it wasn't for her persistance I would be sitting on Pinterest all day looking at all the fun stuff that needs to be done but this weekend we did get our tasting in with the caterer. Anthony would probably say that this was his favorite part...and I just might not disagree. Everything was perfect and we all got full on just the samples. They even gave us a little wine tasting to go with it! okay that might have been my favorite part. We ended up deciding to use them for the wedding and I honestly feel no stress about this part of the wedding because I feel like they genuinely care about how our wedding turns out and making that part of our day amazing which is a great feeling to me.

Last week I got the ring bearer pillows we ordered from Ashley at Rustic Living. Words cannot even describe how excited I am about these and I have looked at them every day since they came. They are so delicate and perfect looking that I can help but just stare at them. It is amazing how just a little detail in our big day is making me so happy! Maybe I am easily amuzed but really these pillows are gorgeous!!

This week our Save The Dates came along with two of the guestbooks and the bridesmaid dresses.
All of these packages came on Monday via UPS. This is what I came home to...
Like I said on my instagram The UPS man is loving this bride to be
Here are a couple sneak peaks of what I am getting into this week

This is my first ever painting!
It is not completely done yet I still have to put the lettering somewhere on it but this is going to be the guestbook for the bridal shower. I am going to have yellow and gold ink pads laying out and people will put their fingerprint on there like lightning bugs and the lettering will go across the top saying "Our Love Glows"
I cannot wait to see everyone's prints on it and have it hanging somewhere in our home.

Are there any other 2013 brides reading this? I would love to follow your blog so we can talk wedding stuff!

Engagement Pictures {Part 2}

here is the second set of our engagement pictures..
if you missed {Part:One} yesterday make sure you check them out.
They were my favorite place that we went to get the pictures taken!
after leaving the fairgrounds we headed out to the farm at Mark and Aubrey's.
We were wanting to get some pictures along the sandbar and the river but it was really sunny.
But we resorted to this tree that had fallen over in the cow field along the river.

Engagement Pictures {Part: One}

We got our engagement pictures back!
they are literally everything I thought they would be and even better
I am going to put them on here throughout a couple days because there are so many.
The ones today are the first place we went to...
Muskingum County Fairgrounds, where Anthony and  I met seven years ago.

The very barn we met in..the hog barn

and the hill where we had our first date.
Sitting right here watching the truck and tractor pulls

I love how much we are laughing in these.

Make sure you check back tomorrow for some more!

Weekend Recap

I had a pretty busy weekend as my friend Ashley over at Rustic Living calls it Insta-Weekend this is pretty much what this post is all about. Here lately all my pictures I have been taking are ending up on instagram instead of facebook. Which makes it super easy to go back and look at all the fun stuff I have done over the weekend. With summer being here Anthony and I are found almost all the time outside enjoying God's beautiful creation. If you want to follow me on instagram please do:

After I got off work on Friday and after running some errands I met Anthony and his brother Travis to go fishing in Conesville by the power plant. I was pretty excited because I was told we were going to catch lots of fish...well lets just say after 3.5 hours out there no fish were caught! but JK ended up joining us and I was also able to take some really cool pictures.

Saturday was full of partying! First we had Shalene's graduation party (check out her pink camo banner that I made her) and then my Dad's friends daughter, Alyssa, got married! We missed the wedding ceremony but made it to the reception which was gorgeous!
Me and Miss Graduate (:
Aren't these decorations amazing?! look familiar to my pinterest boards?
How pretty is that? well I am a pretty lucky bride to be and Alyssa is giving me all of the decorations from her wedding! I am so excited (:
wish this wasn't this blurry! but it Dad with his friends from work

The venue was amazing! I wish it was closer to home because I would love to have my reception here. It was held at Autumn Lakes Campground in Sunbury, OH. The campground looked like an awesome place to go as a family and the reception hall was perfect for the wedding!

On Sunday Anthony and I went to church together, which doesn't get to happen very much because he usually has to work on Sundays. After church we came home, watched a movie and then decided to go fishing over at Dillon. I haven't been having much luck on our fishing trips and yesterday I caught about 15 little blue gill. They were pretty tiny but it was fun. Anthony caught a couple real big ones too!

I wasn't able to get up this morning to do my run because I was up late trying to make a seating arrangement thing for my wedding. Luckily it isn't super hot here today so I was able to get a run in when I got off work. Diesel ended up showing up about half a mile into the run so he ran with me the rest of the way which was nice and he was really good considering he didn't have a leash on. Here are the stats for my run today:
