We bought a house!!!
and not just any standard house, my dream farm house. It is an old farmhouse dating back to 1901 and it is full of so much character and has had just enough updating from previous owners that we are not feeling too overwhelmed by the home improvement projects "needing" done.
The previous owners replaced the plaster walls and put up dry wall which is a huge, huge, huge deal in an older home like this. We have been working on painting and some floor projects that we want to get done before we move in so we can avoid moving our furniture a hundred different times and I've heard that painting with a one year old running around does not come recommended.
