You dirty dog!

This is seriously what I came home to today. Actually when I pulled in the driveway the neighbor boy was playing with him and I thought they got a new dog. I had no idea it was him! After a second look and seeing him running at me I realized it my Tanky boy! All I could do was laugh and grab my camera.

What happened was since the puppies are residing in his swimming pool right now he couldn't find something to cool off in so he decided the neighbor's leach bed was the next best thing! After half a bottle of Suave he is a clean boy again.
This reminded me of the book Harry the Dirty Dog that we read when I was little.

It's finally Friday

Photobucket

Dear body,
please get better soon! After a typical monday last week and having to go to the Doctor for a UTI I got a letter in the mail yesterday saying to call my Dr as soon as possible because they hadn't been able to reach me regarding my recent test results. Well I attempted to call them but of course they were closed for the day so this left me to worrying all night what could possibly be wrong?!! I called them this morning on my way to work and they told me they needed to call in an order of macrobid because there were high levels of Ecoli in my urine sample. What the heck?!?! no wonder I have been feeling super tired and weak and was still showing symptoms of the UTI. Well thankfully it was nothing super serious like a disease or anything and I can start the new antibiotic and be all better soon.

Dear Fiance,
I love you so much and am so thankful for your awesome hunting skills however we have got to get out in the woods every chance we get the next 3 days because Sunday is the last day of turkey season and I really need to fill this tag! Love you babe xoxo

Dear Vincent,
Happy Birthday Buddy! hope your day is wonderful and your sisters give you a break from all the teasing and bugging you. Also I hope we can find someone to take you out in the turkey woods this weekend so you can get a turkey too!

Dear Stephanie,
I am coming to you again today to get my hair done. You did an amazing job last time and I can't wait to have you color my hair again. Hopefully soon it will be back to the blonde that it used to be and I won't ever go brown again. Thanks girl!

Dear Friday,
I am glad you are finally here! I have had kind of an odd week but it is over and that is all that matters. Come 12:00 I am ready to enjoy you for all your worth.

Graduation Celebrations

Mother nature has blessed me with my monthly visitor and I feel as if I have been hit by a Mack truck and not just hit that 18-wheeler put it in reverse and ran right back over me..I say Pigpen this here's Rubber Duck and I'm about to put the hammer down! Hopefully by tomorrow the constant dose of ibuprofen will have kicked in and I will be able to function.

Mom and I are currently in the middle of planning JK's graduation party. I am in charge of doing the invitations and the decorations for the party. I took his senior pictures back in October and they turned out great! so of course I will be using them in part with the decorations. I am also putting together a scrapbook to have laying out at the party which I have procrastinated on and need to get started this week. Tomorrow is his last official day of high school, Thursday they are going on their senior trip to Cedar Point and Friday is Senior Slide Show and rehearsal for the ceremony. They have next week off and Friday night they will be graduating under the lights on the football field (weather permitting) We are having his party on June 9th at my cousin's church. My cousin Jed that I did his senior pictures back in February is also having the party with my brother so I will also be making some decorations for his memory table at the party.

With all this party planning I have been scouring (sp?) all over Pinterest for ideas. So for Pinteresting Wednesday over at The Vintage Apple this post will be full of party planning ideas.

First off I am focusing on creating some banners. I love making banners, we have them around here for every holiday and event that goes on. They are so easy and so cute to have hanging up! This I don't need much inspiration for but I thought I would check whats out there.

The memory tables are pretty much just going to be pictures from growing up

this is a genius idea to keep food cooled down

As soon as I get the invites, decorations and scrapbook done I will definitely be posting them!
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday, we are halfway through the week (:

Last night I got my driftwood frame finished and hung up in my room. I ended up digging an old frame out of the basement that has a piece of canvasy material on it that is kinda dirty and until I get a picture for it I am leaving it there. My plan is to put one of engagement pictures in it after we get them taken. But after I hung it up above my bed I was searching for a place to put my cross and realized that it looked perfect hanging in the frame! I LOVE IT!! All the wood was found here at the State Park so if/when we move away I can take a big piece of home with me. Now I need to get started on my next project...JK got me a bunch of wood from an old barn. I am not real sure what I am going to do with it but will figure it out soon, just after some research on Pinterest!

Weekend WrapUp

What an interesting weekend we had. My little cousin Avery made her first communion so we all went up to Dublin to watch her and celebrate afterwards. There was 203 people in her first communion class! My class had maybe 80 people but we are also from a small town but still 203..I was completely astounished when I opened the program to see this. Avery looked gorgeous and was actually wearing the dress I wore as a flower girl in her Mom and Dad's wedding! After church we went to Bravo's, I had never been there before but it was very delicious and the service was really good. Avery opened gifts and we had cake and headed home.

When we got home we realized that D.O.G. (yes that is our dog's name, thanks to my Dad) had had her puppies while we were gone. She ended up having eight pups and they all survived! We are not really sure who the dad is but we do have a guess. I will post some pictures soon. So in 3 days we had 4 kittens and 8 puppies born! Quite the addition to the farm, as soon as the babies are old enough they will all be moving to the barn because we do not want this many animals in our house and in 8 weeks hopefully we will be finding all of them new homes!

Sunday was spent celebrating Mother's Day and we went to my cousin Jackie's graduation party. After Anthony got off work we had dinner and headed over to Sammy's house to help her move in. We ended up getting her bedroom done. the guys laid the carpet and put the bed together and Sammy and I got the dresser brought in and started getting it decorated. The cabin is going to be extremely nice when it is all put together. The hardwood floor is coming on Wednesday and KW is finishing up the drywall so we can start painting the living room.

Today I started a 30 day challenge to myself to see how much weight I can loose and get fit before we leave for vacation. We literally have 30 days so I don't have any time to waste before we leave for the beach. My goal is to be drinking lots of water, eating super healthy, no junk food and getting at least an hour of exercise in along with 200 cruches in the morning and at night. Hopefully all the hard work will pay off and I will be rockin' a bikini on the beach.

Happy Mother's Day to my amazing Mom!!
Thank you for everything you do and for turning me into the person I am today. I would not have gotten this far without your help. I know I have not done things the traditional way or the way you have wanted me to growing up but you have still stuck behind me through it all. Thank-you so much Mom! I love you.
Even though I don't have a child of my own I do have my fur babies.

Fridays Letters & H54F

It is finally friday and I am mixing things up a little bit over here. Usually I just do Fridays Letters but I have had pretty good week and came across High Five For Friday over at From My Grey Desk

Photobucket

1. After some minor complications we finally brought the lambs home. I have spent every night this week just hanging out with Maddy trying to get the lambs acquainted with their new home. After about a week we are going to start walking them around with the halters on and that is when things are going to get interesting.

2. I found myself taking lots of pictures outside with the beautiful weather we have been having here in Ohio. I can say it is officially summer and I am loving the warm weather and sunshine.

3. I had plenty of time last night and was able to get a big chunk of my brother's senior pictures edited which turned out great! Here is a little sneak peak:

4. Maddy got inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at school. This is such a huge accomplishment and I am so proud of her! Way to go Maddy, congrats!

5. I got myself in gear and started working on my driftwood project. This old frame I have has a canvas material on it and I am not too sure what I am going to do with it. I am tossing ideas around, everything from a big picture of our family from vacation or waiting until Anthony and I get our engagement pictures done and use one of those, or possibly a mirror or make it a chalkboard. I am not real sure what I want to do but I do know this will not be the last one I make (:
Now for some Friday Letters:

Dear Weekend, I would appreciate it if you take your good old time while you are here. I don't have too much going on and I would love to just enjoy it. Please and Thank-you!
Dear Mother Nature, like I told the weekend I don't have too many plans but I would like to spend some of my time outside and that is up to you to make that happen so please hold off the rain. Thanks!
Dear D.O.G. I figure sometime this weekend you will be having your puppies and I am not going to lie I am not too excited about this. This was not in the plan, I mean someone definitely just dropped you off and probably did so because you were preggers and didn't want to take the responsibility. Now we are taking the responsibility and hopefully can place all your puppies in good homes and don't have to send them to the animal shelter.Hopefully you only have 3-4 pups but that is not how your belly is looking. Good luck little girl!
Dear Blogger Friends, Every day I feel like I am meeting new people and love reading all your blogs. Thanks for following me back and to all of you from Ohio I hope you will be able to attend the Ohio Blogger Meet in June! It is going to be lots of fun. If you haven't heard about this head over to Leigh Anne's at Hart to Heart and check it out! Hope to see you there (:
