Fridays Letters

Photobucket

Dear AEP and Powerline guys, Thank-you for all you have done so far getting people's power restored as soon as humanly possible however can you please weasle your way on over to Vroom road because we are still without power. 7 days now we have been without power and water! It is absolutely insane. Pretty please pay our road a visit and restore our power asap, please and thank-you

Dear Dad, you have been gone for 6 days and the house feels weird without you. I am so happy for you that you were able to check something off your list of things to do and it must have been lots of fun riding the Dragon Tail on your bike and then spending a week in Charleston with Uncle Brad but I still cannot wait for you to be home again. Love you and be careful on your ride back home. xoxo
Dear Seneca Lake, I cannot wait to come spend the next two days at your campground with Grandpa and Grandma Kuhn. We got a little sneak peak on Tuesday night by going out on a boat ride and eating campfire food but spending the next two days there will be mucho better!

Dear Anthony, I am so happy that you got the next two days off! this is very rare...a friday and a saturday off! I can't wait to spend it over at Seneca by going fishing, boating, tubing and watching the fireworks with JK, Shalene, Grandpa and Grandma it is going to be so much fun.

Dear Tank, I cannot decide what would be better for you. If we take you over to Seneca Lake I know you would have lots of fun running around being the BIG dog campground! However the next days are supposed to be excruciatingly hot and you won't have a cool place to go to cool down. If I leave you home you can hangout in the basement and be all cooled off. I don't know what to do buddy?! I know Anthony will be all for you staying home but it makes Mommy feel bad...ugh what to do? what to do?

Dear Ohio Bloggers, I cannot wait until our meet-up on Sunday at the Cheese Cake Factory. It is going to be so much fun and I can't wait to meet everyone. To all you girls that are in Ohio you should really come to this! Leigh Anne over at Hart to Heart has planned this whole get-together if you are planning on going head over to her blog to link up that you will be there and to get all the details. Hope to see ya'all there!

Friday's Letters

Dear Friday, I am very glad that you are here. I have had one crazy week and its been a short one. Dear GOD, thank-you thank-you thank-you for keeping us safe during our travels. Our accident could have been much much worse and we walked away with no injuries and were still able to drive the Jeep home. Dear Vacation, you could have been a little longer and less windy at the beach but we were able to enjoy some sightseeing and relaxing by the pool. Now I just need this weekend to catch up with all my laundry and getting all the camping stuff put away. Dear Fifty Shades of Grey, I am only 20 or 30 pages into you and not real sure what all the hype is about. I am told I am not to let my Mother read this one but I haven't gotten that vibe yet...maybe it is soon to come so I will just take everyone's word for it. Dear Rodanthe, thank you for providing me with amazing scenes to take pictures of. I love all of them and honestly am considering getting all 439 developed but really need to refrain from getting so many done. Now to pick my favorite 200. Dear Monday, take your good ole time coming, I am not looking forward to you. Sorry.

Fridays Letters & H54F

It is finally friday and I am mixing things up a little bit over here. Usually I just do Fridays Letters but I have had pretty good week and came across High Five For Friday over at From My Grey Desk.

Photobucket

1. After some minor complications we finally brought the lambs home. I have spent every night this week just hanging out with Maddy trying to get the lambs acquainted with their new home. After about a week we are going to start walking them around with the halters on and that is when things are going to get interesting.

2. I found myself taking lots of pictures outside with the beautiful weather we have been having here in Ohio. I can say it is officially summer and I am loving the warm weather and sunshine.

3. I had plenty of time last night and was able to get a big chunk of my brother's senior pictures edited which turned out great! Here is a little sneak peak:

4. Maddy got inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at school. This is such a huge accomplishment and I am so proud of her! Way to go Maddy, congrats!

5. I got myself in gear and started working on my driftwood project. This old frame I have has a canvas material on it and I am not too sure what I am going to do with it. I am tossing ideas around, everything from a big picture of our family from vacation or waiting until Anthony and I get our engagement pictures done and use one of those, or possibly a mirror or make it a chalkboard. I am not real sure what I want to do but I do know this will not be the last one I make (:
Now for some Friday Letters:

Dear Weekend, I would appreciate it if you take your good old time while you are here. I don't have too much going on and I would love to just enjoy it. Please and Thank-you!
Dear Mother Nature, like I told the weekend I don't have too many plans but I would like to spend some of my time outside and that is up to you to make that happen so please hold off the rain. Thanks!
Dear D.O.G. I figure sometime this weekend you will be having your puppies and I am not going to lie I am not too excited about this. This was not in the plan, I mean someone definitely just dropped you off and probably did so because you were preggers and didn't want to take the responsibility. Now we are taking the responsibility and hopefully can place all your puppies in good homes and don't have to send them to the animal shelter.Hopefully you only have 3-4 pups but that is not how your belly is looking. Good luck little girl!
Dear Blogger Friends, Every day I feel like I am meeting new people and love reading all your blogs. Thanks for following me back and to all of you from Ohio I hope you will be able to attend the Ohio Blogger Meet in June! It is going to be lots of fun. If you haven't heard about this head over to Leigh Anne's at Hart to Heart and check it out! Hope to see you there (:

Friday's Letters

Dear Open House at Work,
I am so glad you are over. We all worked our hinies off to make it successful and successful it was! but man I was pulling my hair out all week stressing about it coming off like a hitch (not sure that was worded right?) Between hand addressing 250 envelopes to invite current patients, a mail piece sent to 1500+ people that luckily I didn't have much of anything to do other than voting on the design along with everyone else, my phone calls being recorded and making sure I was scheduling accurately all the while making sure we got everyone scheduled I am still alive but thanking God that it is over while enjoying a large glass of moscato wine.
Dear Baby Brother,
You are growing up way too fast, it makes me sad. I vividly remember our days growing up on Harper Drive and all the trouble fun we had. Saturday you are going to your senior prom and I feel like just yesterday I was attending my senior prom and you were just a lil freshman now you are a grown man. You have the world at your finger tips right now. You have so many talents and they will carry you to success but it is just up to you to make responsible decisions and not mess it up. But Saturday night you need to take a break from all the growing up business and have a good time. You and Shalene deserve to have a great night with your friends. I love you so much and cannot wait to see you all dressed up tomorrow!
xoxo

Dear Vow,
I know I am a little late but its better late than never, correct?! I still haven't seen the movie but while I was in Kmart today I wandered by the book isle and saw this and just had to get it so I can read it before I watch the movie. Hopefully I finish it really soon so I can buy the movie and watch it.
Dear Friday Night,
tonight we are celebrating Grandma Spiker's 66th birthday by going to Texas Road House. It will be nice to get together with the whole family. It will be Spiker party of 17 so it will be a crazy night out on the town but I love spending time with my family so it will be fun!

Dear Laundry,
You have been slightly neglected this week and you are definitely letting me know this. My bed is completely covered with clean clothes that either need hung back up from my ransacking for the perfect outfit to wear to work every night  or just have not been put away. I would take a picture but I am too embarrassed by how messy my room is. So tomorrow when I get off I will be trying to catch up on you. Bring it on!

Dear Fiance,
we have 406 days til we tie the knot. I know this is a crazy long time but I find myself staring at my ring and thinking about the significance of it and what it really means to us. Other than it being so pretty and sparkly it is also our promise to each other for forever. I love you so much baby and am looking forward to all the crazy wedding planning we have to do. Please just don't forget to remind me to stop to enjoy our engagement so I can look back on it as a happy time and not a hectic year of my life. I love you babe! xoxoxoxoxo
I was pretty excited with taking this picture and the shine did this.
Dear Thunder Chicken meant for me,
Please expose yourself this weekend so I can get some sort of winning streak with hunting. I haven't had much luck and I really hope you let me put you in my sights. Please and Thank-You!!

Fridays Letters

Dear Friday,
You came pretty fast this week even though it wasn't the greatest week. We don't really have any big plans or really any plans at all so it will be nice to just relax for the weekend, hopefully in a newly carpeted living room.

Dear Fiance,
I am glad that you are feeling better than you were last week however I am not thrilled that you decided to share your sickness with me. I just started getting the symptoms and oh my dear Lord this sucks!!! Thanks a lot Babe, now its your turn to take care of me. Love you!

Dear Mother Nature,
Wow you have been really moody this week. Sunday night I was able to go for a 3 mile run but Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you were very bitter to all of us Ohioans! You even frosted us Tuesday night, what is up with this? Luckily yesterday you started coming around and Anthony and I were able to go fishing at the pond, well I took a blanket and my book and just read while Anthony fished. It was a nice relaxing evening even though I was feeling pretty crappy.

As always linking up over at The Adventures of Newlyweds

Fridays Letters

Sorry no pictures for this post something is wrong with my loader on here. Have a great Easter everyone!!

Dear Steve @ RiteRug,
you definitely told us the carpet was going to be here on Wednesday but then Mom called you to set up the time and you told her that it is not going to be here til next week....WTF (and WTF right now does not mean Wild Turkey Federation) We busted our butts to get the carpet ripped out, walls painted except for one and everything from our living room is now in the kitchen. We are all very unhappy with you and are not enjoying sitting in our theater styled living room now. The only positive to this is that we were able to decide to paint the two other walls to lighten up the room.

Dear Behr Cottage White,
I absolutely love you and all your crispy clean color you have put to our living room walls. If I wasn't such a lover of color I would probably paint every room in our house with your wonderfulness.

Dear Fiance,
You are fighting some sort of bug right now and it makes me very sad. I hope you are feeling better come Sunday so we can enjoy Easter with our families. I really enjoy the little kisses you have been giving me on the forehead my lips are getting a bit jealous. Love you honey xoxo

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for dying for us on the cross. We all need to remember to put the egg coloring, chocolate bunnies, and finding baskets aside and really remind ourselves what this holiday is for.

Friday's Letters

Every Friday night theres a steady cloud of dust.
That leads back to a field filled with pickup trucks.
Got ol' Hank crankin way up loud.
Got coolers in the back. Tailgates down.
There's a big fire burnin' but don't be alarmed
We're just country boys and girls gettin' down on the farm.

As always I am kickin' off friday with Friday's Letters over at Ashley's

Dear Blonde Hair,
Oh I missed you so much!! I decided to try out a new hair stylist last night and get back to my blonde hair and I am so glad I did. I was nervous walking into a new place because let me honest I have been through so many hair stylists, I go through them like a Nascar fan goes through beer at Daytona. I have also had some not so good experiences with my hair too. Stephanie did such a great job and we seriously talked the whole entire time. I hate when I go to get my hair done and have nothing to say to the person, it makes for such an awkward and long appointment. Everything was great last night and I cannot wait to go back in 6 weeks...I might even be scheduling a pedicure with her. I have never had one done before and Steph let me know I am missing out terribly.

Dear Scentsy,
I have heard so many positive things about you but had yet to try out any of your products. Well we bought a room spray for the office and oh my goodness!!! We bought the Sugar Cookie smell and it seriously makes my mouth water. It also fends off the nasty smell that patients bring into our office, our patients that are smokers. Man they can stink up the office and our windows are painted shut so we can't open them to get any fresh hair but this works wonders! Thank-you Scentsy!

Dear Luke,
A year ago today your Mommy and I were taking her maternity pictures. She was scheduled to be induced the following morning so we decided we would document the very end, your Mommy at her biggest. I am sure her nerves were flying like baseballs coming out of a pitching machine because I know mine were and I wasn't even the one having a baby. It was even snowing outside so we bundled up and went out to get some pictures with the snow falling. Tomorrow you will be a year old!!! It's hard to believe where the time has went. I can only imagine what it will be like when I have my own kids, until then I am just going to enjoy you. You have accomplished many milestones in the past year and now you are running around and getting into everything! Your Mommy has her hands full with you but I am so happy that your Daddy makes it possible for Mommy to be a stay at home Mom and spend her days with you. I can't wait to see what you get into in the next year and continue to watch you grow. I love you little buddy xoxo
Love Aunt Brit.

Dear Fiance,
We have 440 Days until we say "I Do" I know this seems forever a way but I am sure it is going to fly by. I am sure I will have days that it is going to be going slower than Moses and I will probably get really antsy because we don't have a house yet and there will be so much to do. I know you will be my rock and keep me calm as always. I know it is going to be hard but no one said anything about it being easy. I just need to keep reminding myself of that. I love you baby!
